Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a Marketing Specialist for Home Health services in Lake County, The Villages, FL. You will lead direct marketing to assigned areas, develop territory plans, and build relationships with physicians, nurses and referral sources to grow patient referrals.

You will work a full-time, day-shift schedule, use MS Office, and coordinate with admissions and care teams to deliver high-quality home health and hospice services. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Business, Marketing or Health Science required.
• 3+ years of marketing experience required.
• Healthcare and/or hospice experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related software required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct marketing of Home Based Service to assigned areas.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates quarterly and annual territory plans to achieve growth goals.
• Develops relationships with providers by making effective sales calls and presentations.
• Acts as liaison between referral partners and the agency.
• Meets with patients and families to discuss home health, hospice, and palliative care services.
• Builds relationships within the admissions department and with patient care resources staff to ensure effective communication with referral sources and internal stakeholders.
• Updates and maintains customer and competitor profiles, logs daily call activity, and documents plans for follow-up activities with referral sources.
• Serves as agency staff liaison with physicians, facility nurses, social workers, discharge planners, and community agencies to facilitate the delivery of appropriate services for potential patients.
• Utilizes current agency and/or department-specific software to complete assignments and documents relevant information into electronic database systems.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Participates in marketing efforts to educate the healthcare community about home health and hospice programs, including physician calls, lunch and learns, health fairs, speaker’s bureau, and CEU programs for healthcare providers.
• Prepares monthly tracking reports on referral sources and keeps the agency informed of key marketplace changes relating to providers and competitors.

Job Description:
