Relive, based in Austin, TX, is seeking a Business Development & Partnerships professional to expand multifamily property partnerships across 7 core markets and beyond. You will negotiate and sign agreements with property managers and communities, map who pays what, and ensure initial deals are paid.
This role is quota-driven with travel up to 40–50% in the first six months, then about 25%. You’ll work closely with Finance, sign vendor registrations, and help open new markets while staying
We're hiring for a Business Development & Partnerships role to expand our multifamily property partnerships in 7 core markets: Denver, Chicago, Atlanta, South Florida (Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Tampa), and more, soon.
Based in our Austin, Texas office and always ready to travel and meet with partners, you will negotiate and sign agreements with property management companies and communities, build the map of who pays what and how, and make sure the first deals our agents close in each market actually get paid.
This is a business development and sales role with a quota measured on signed agreements. The first invoice collection from these properties is part of the job, in the sense that a partnership isn't done until the first invoices are paid — after that, the day-to-day of invoicing and follow-up sits with our Finance & Collections team, and you work alongside them.
Relive is a real estate brokerage built for a young, tech-forward new generation of real estate agents. We empower agents who use social media content and our in-house cutting-edge technology to deliver better and faster results for their clients looking to rent or buy a home.
What started in apartment locating has evolved into a powerhouse for new construction and residential resale too, having helped more than 8,000 clients find a home.
We are scaling rapidly, with a community of over 600 agents across several major markets — Austin, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth, Denver, Houston, San Antonio, south Florida — and we're just getting started, soon launching others.
With 2,000+ Google reviews at a perfect 5.0-star rating and $7M in funding from strategic investors, our momentum is real. Our strength lies in a passionate, collaborative culture that blends entrepreneurial grit with a drive to disrupt the industry.
-Business development (primary focus)
Map each market: the relevant property management companies and owners, their regional and corporate decision makers, and how they work with real estate brokerages.
Sign portfolio-level agreements with management companies and community-level agreements: commission terms, payment terms, invoicing channel, escort and referral rules.
Get Relive registered as an approved vendor with each management company before our agents close their first deal there.
Run a weekly pipeline of prospects, meetings, and signed agreements per market, and be on the ground in the active market three to five consecutive days at a time.
Turn every agreement into something agents can use: which properties pay, how much, what they need at guest card and lease, who to call. Share it with the back-office staff and keep it current.
Be the first call for agents in a new market when a property doesn't recognize Relive, disputes a commission, or asks for documents we haven't provided yet.
Bring market feedback back to the company: which properties to push, which to avoid, where our terms are out of line with local practice.
-Collections support in new markets
Make sure the first invoices in each market land with the right accounts payable contact, in the right system, under the terms you agreed.
Step in when Finance's follow-up stalls at a property you signed: you have the relationship, they have the process. Escalate through your contacts rather than through another reminder email.
Hand Finance the payer record for every agreement you sign: contact, portal, terms, documents required. Invoicing and routine follow-up stay with Finance.
Signed agreements with property management companies and communities in each target market, against a quota agreed at hire.
Share of active agents in each new market who can transact with agreed terms at their top properties.
Relive registered as a vendor with every management company we signed, before the first invoice.
Collection rate and days-to-payment on the first invoices in each market.
Each market handed over to a stable state, with a payer record agents and Finance can work without you.
3+ years in business development, leasing, or property management — ideally within multifamily real estate — with a track record of signing agreements, not just managing accounts.
Experience owning a quota/goals and measured performance.
Able to work in a fast-paced startup where everything is new and therefore challenging.
Available to travel 40–50% of the time in the first six months, mostly to Denver, Chicago, Atlanta, and South Florida (Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Tampa), and around 25% of the time after that.
Existing relationships with property management companies in any of our target markets are a strong plus.
Understanding of how the apartment rental, apartment-locating, and multifamily industries work — and how properties pay real estate agents and brokerages — is a strong plus.
A closer. You're comfortable walking into a leasing office or onto a regional manager's calendar for a video call — and you can close a partnership agreement once you're there.
A builder. New cities and markets require work from the ground up. You will own it A-Z.
Organized and efficient while on the road. Half your time is travel; your pipeline, notes, and follow-ups are key.
Agent-first. The point of the role is to ensure our real estate agents are able to work with many properties and ultimately get paid.
Comfortable with money conversations. Commission terms, payment terms, a stalled invoice: day-to-day business, handled directly.
Comfortable being measured. You want a clear quota/goals, and you'd rather be told directly when you're falling behind.
Austin, TX — hybrid, based in our Austin office alongside the US team.
Travel roughly 25–50% of the time. Traveling, housing, and per diem costs covered by the company.
This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports. You report to the COO and work daily with our Agents, our Finance team, and leasing, regional, and corporate staff at property management companies.
