Cerity Partners is seeking a dynamic Business Development Officer to drive growth in high-net-worth client segments. The role focuses on engaging, converting, and managing prospective clients while collaborating with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in financial services sales, strong investment product knowledge, and credentials such as FINRA, CFP or CFA. This hybrid position supports locations across major US markets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field; MBA or CFP a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales and relationship management within financial services or wealth management.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding growth targets.
  • Strong understanding of investment products, financial planning, and regulatory environment.
  • Experience in workplace solutions and conversion process.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 63 & 65)
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or similar credentials

Responsibilities

  • Managing on-going client relationships and expanding those relationships where appropriate
