Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation is seeking a sales professional to develop new agency clients and expand loan volume within the small agency market. You will educate clients on systems, monitor competitors, and assist internal departments while promoting Premium Finance at industry events.

You will build relationships, manage a territory, analyze profitability, and use Salesforce to track activities and follow-ups, traveling as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent education and training.
  • Two years of B2B sales experience, preferably in financial services or insurance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated, independent worker.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to travel, occasionally overnight.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain profitable new business by making calls on agents, brokers and agencies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing clients to expand loan volume.
  • Manage territory with guidance from the manager.
  • Monitor local insurance trends and report to management.
  • Monitor local competitive environment and report to management.
  • Analyze monthly reports to identify sales opportunities and minimize lost volume.
  • Ensure revenue goals by analyzing profitability per relationship.
  • Coordinate with Marketing and Operations to maximize opportunities.
  • Use Salesforce.com to record sales activity and set follow-ups.
  • Develop pricing proposals and submit to management for approval.

Develop new clients and call on existing clients within the small agency market segment to cultivate, retain and expand their loan volume. Educate agency clients on systems and procedures. Gather data on competitors and monitor activity within the assigned territory. Assist internal departments as needed. Promote Premium Finance at industry events.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Develop pricing proposals as needed and submit to management for approval.
Qualifications

  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office software products

For a salary/hourly range: The annual base salary for this position is $X - $X.
