• Experience in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Design-Build, residential remodeling, interior design, or real estate is strongly preferred
• Confident communicator and relationship builder who is highly organized, self-motivated, and driven by measurable results

Responsibilities

Essig Renovation & Design is looking for an experienced Business Development & Marketing Lead who knows how to turn relationships into opportunities—and opportunities into long-term clients.

We're a Pittsburgh Design-Build firm specializing in high-quality residential renovations, additions, historic homes, kitchens, bathrooms, and whole-home remodeling.

What You'll Do

• Manage prospective clients from initial inquiry through qualification, site visits, presentation of our Design-Build process, signed agreements, and initial payment.
• Develop relationships with potential clients, past clients, referral partners, industry professionals, and community organizations.
• Build a network that consistently produces qualified project opportunities.
• Manage and maintain Essig's CRM and sales pipeline.
• Attend networking, community, professional, and industry events throughout Pittsburgh.
• Coordinate prospective client meetings with our Designers, Project Managers, Directors, Founder, and other key team members.
• Develop creative business development and sales strategies.
• Research competitors, market trends, and new opportunities.
• Develop and execute marketing and branding initiatives.
• Create and coordinate content for Essig's website and social media channels.
• Engage with our online audience and help our team capture compelling project content.
• Support company events, charitable initiatives, partnerships, and community involvement.
• Help strengthen and expand the Essig Renovation & Design brand throughout the greater Pittsburgh market.

What We're Looking For

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field, along with 10+ years of experience in business development, direct sales, advertising, marketing, or a related discipline.

Experience in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Design-Build, residential remodeling, interior design, or real estate is strongly preferred.

The ideal candidate is a confident communicator and relationship builder who is highly organized, self-motivated, creative, comfortable working independently, and driven by measurable results.

Experience with CRM systems, sales pipeline management, Microsoft Office, digital marketing, social media, and marketing/graphic-design tools is also important.

A valid driver's license and the ability to travel throughout the greater Pittsburgh area are required.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $75,000–$82,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

This is a full-time position averaging approximately 40–45 hours per week.
