Farris Engineering is seeking a Regional Business Development Manager for the South region to expand our presence in refining, petrochemical, chemical, and industrial markets. The role focuses on creating opportunities before RFQs and building relationships with key decision-makers across process industries.

Regional Business Development Manager – South

We are looking for a Regional Business Development Manager to join our Curtiss-Wright team!

The Regional Business Development Manager will focus on developing new customer relationships, creating opportunities before the RFQ stage, and expanding Curtiss-Wright's presence across refining, petrochemical, chemical, and industrial markets.

LOCATION: United States – South Region

SALARY RATE: 120,000 - 150,000 Annually

YOUR CHALLENGE:

• Develop and execute a business-development strategy focused on new customer acquisition, market development, and opportunity creation.
• Identify and target refineries, petrochemical facilities, chemical plants, and other process-industry end users where Curtiss-Wright can develop new business.
• Build relationships with I&C, reliability, maintenance, engineering, operations, and procurement personnel and identify customer champions and decision-makers.
• Use practical control-valve service and application knowledge to uncover needs related to repair, maintenance, turnarounds, replacement, and new applications before formal RFQs.
• Work with existing channel partners and Regional Sales Managers as appropriate to develop and advance customer opportunities, while coordinating closely with Curtiss-Wright technical resources.

WHAT YOU BRING:

• 7+ years of experience in business development, industrial sales, or a related customer-facing role.
• Existing relationships with petro-chemical and OEM’s
• Proven success generating new business through proactive prospecting and developing new customer relationships.
• Strong understanding of industrial valves, instrumentation and process equipment.
• Ability to build relationships with customers, identify decision-makers, and uncover opportunities before the RFQ stage.
• Self-directed and motivated to develop new markets and create opportunities with limited day-to-day direction.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Regional Sales Managers, existing channel partners, and internal technical resources.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region to develop customer relationships and new opportunities.
