Job Description:

This is an excellent opportunity to work for an exceptional MGA as a Business Development Manager. The role suits individuals currently in similar roles or those working within a broking environment, such as an Account Executive or Broker, seeking a new challenge.

You will be working in the broker markets around the Southcentral belt of England, with significant autonomy. The company boasts excellent AA-rated facilities and is a market leader in Fleet/Haulage and other general insurance sectors, managing around £120m GWP.

Support from senior management and a strong team of underwriters will enable you to maximize opportunities and perform effectively.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Generating new business leads, providing quotes, and converting across all products to meet strategic targets.
  • Driving growth and retention in line with strategic objectives.
  • Developing a deep understanding of key customers and target audiences to meet their needs and retain their business.
  • Collaborating with internal departments to ensure customer needs are communicated and met.
  • Planning, visiting clients, and reporting on activities.
  • Building strong internal and external relationships.

The package includes a salary up to £50k, company car allowance, bonus incentives, high OTE, and excellent staff benefits.
