Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Business Development Manager Scandinavia to drive growth across Denmark and neighboring markets. You will plan sales activities, manage key accounts, conduct site surveys, and deliver technical demonstrations to end-users and distributors, while working remotely.

You will develop distribution networks, train distributors’ sales staff, and coordinate customer visits to achieve agreed targets, leveraging your technical understanding and strong communication skills in

• Proven previous experience in a similar role (electrical industry, panel building, utility, renewable).
• Technical understanding of machines, new technologies and tools.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and fluent in Danish/Swedish.
• Proficiency in English language (verbal and written).
• Good presentation skill and capable of establishing good relations with customers in different levels.
• Willingness to work home office

Responsibilities

• Supporting sales through the effective provision of sales data, including the weekly recording of visit and action reports. Following up on all sales-leads, distributor performance and offers.
• Developing sales with hands-on demonstrations, trade shows and roadshow (Demo Van) events to achieve targets.
• Maintaining the relations with existing local dealers & end-users in the targeted segments.
• Training the sales staff in distributors as well as end-user customers.
• Using customer and prospect contact activities, tools and systems and update relevant information related to these systems.
• Visiting key account customers like construction companies, municipalities, contractors, etc.
• Classifying the product range according to related potential customers & distributors.

In this Role, your Responsibilities will be:
