Business Development Manager, Mountain States & PNW

We are looking for a results-oriented and enthusiastic Business Development Manager for the Mountain States & PNW region to play a key role in driving sales and building strategic partnerships with travel advisors. This role is crucial to our growth, focusing on relationship cultivation, business development, and revenue generation. The ideal candidate will have industry insight, a consultative sales approach, and a passion for travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Account Management: Manage accounts, develop strategies, and ensure revenue goals are met.
  • Revenue Optimization: Maximize revenue through leveraging supplier relationships and influencing purchasing decisions.
  • Territory Planning: Prioritize relationship-building efforts within your territory.
  • Consultative Sales: Align agency needs with our products through a consultative approach.
  • Goal Alignment: Collaborate with agency partners to set and achieve revenue objectives; develop strategic account plans.
  • Strategic Planning: Build long-term growth plans for top-tier partners.
  • Business Development: Identify and cultivate new agency relationships.
  • Advisor Support: Strengthen existing accounts with communication, training, and support.
  • Industry Representation: Represent the company at events and trade shows.
  • FAM Trip Leadership: Lead familiarization trips for travel advisors.
  • Responsive Service: Provide timely, solution-focused support.
  • Sales Performance: Meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Use CRM and analytics to monitor performance and uncover opportunities.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed on market trends and competitors.
  • Database Management: Log activities accurately in CRM systems.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Participate in company initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 3+ years in sales or client-facing roles.
  • Experience in travel, hospitality, or consumer sales preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 70%.
  • Strong sales and relationship management skills.
  • Analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Eligible for AAA Safe Driving Program.

Territory: WA, OR, ID, MT, WY, NE, UT, CO, NM, AZ

Location: Remote within territory
