Business Development Manager, Mountain States & PNW

We are looking for a results-oriented and enthusiastic Business Development Manager for the Mountain States & PNW region to drive sales and build strategic partnerships with travel advisors. This role focuses on relationship cultivation, business development, and revenue growth, requiring industry insight, a consultative sales approach, and a passion for travel.

Key Responsibilities

As a Business Development Manager, you will:

  • Manage strategic accounts: Develop and execute account strategies to meet revenue goals.
  • Optimize revenue: Leverage supplier relationships to promote products and influence purchasing decisions.
  • Plan territory activities: Prioritize relationship-building efforts within your assigned region.
  • Apply consultative sales: Align agency needs with company offerings.
  • Set and achieve goals: Collaborate with partners on revenue objectives and create account plans for growth.
  • Develop new relationships: Identify and cultivate high-potential agencies.
  • Support existing accounts: Maintain regular communication, training, and support.
  • Represent the company: Attend industry events, trade shows, webinars, and training sessions.
  • Lead FAM trips: Organize familiarization trips for travel advisors.
  • Provide responsive service: Offer timely, solution-focused support to partners.
  • Drive sales performance: Meet or exceed sales targets through strategic efforts.
  • Utilize data: Use CRM and analytics to monitor performance and identify opportunities.
  • Stay informed: Keep abreast of market trends and competitor activity.
  • Manage database: Log activities accurately in CRM systems.
  • Collaborate across teams: Participate in initiatives supporting broader business goals.

Qualifications & Experience

Ideal candidates will have:

  • At least 3+ years in sales, partnership development, or client-facing roles, with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Travel, hospitality, or consumer sales experience preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 70%.
  • Strong sales, relationship management, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Eligibility for the AAA Safe Driving Program.

Territory: WA, OR, ID, MT, WY, NE, UT, CO, NM, AZ

Location: Remote within the territory

Compensation: Base salary plus incentive, typically $65,000 - $90,000 annually, with unlimited earning potential based on performance.
