Provides business development leadership and direction for geographic location(s) and/or a specific market sector to generate sales for Austin that meet or exceed annual sales targets. Once work is awarded, keep contact with the client to ensure complete satisfaction.

Requirements
  • Normally requires a 4-year degree in Engineering, Architecture or Business (or equivalent) and at least 6-10 years of diversified experience, primarily within the business development realm.
  • Up to 70% travel may be necessary.
Summary
  • Develop annual sales plan and update periodically as necessary to achieve sales goals.
  • Communicates clearly and skillfully a deep knowledge about the company's offerings and the needs of their target audience based on a deep understanding of The Austin Method, the company's services, including the features, benefits, and how they address client challenges.
  • Conducts research and surveys to determine promising areas of development. Establishes and maintains numerous contacts within and outside the industry.
  • Works closely with the Project Team and is called upon frequently when preparing the scope of work when producing or editing Step 1 documents.
  • Develops proposals for Austin services and provides guidance to proposal team from inception to completion. Recommends the pricing structure, as well as other contract terms and conditions.
  • Acts as sponsor during project execution.
