Note: Notion is an in-person company, requiring employees to come to the office for two Anchor Days (Mondays & Thursdays) and spend most of their week in the office, including a third day.

About The Role

The BD team accelerates distribution and drives growth through strategic partnerships. We seek a talented, ambitious individual to help source distribution opportunities, deepen integrations, and model impactful strategies. Reporting to the Head of BD, you'll collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, and Finance to bring deals from initial pitch to launch and beyond. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, analytical, and adept at translating between executives, engineers, and partners.

What You’ll Achieve
  • Accelerate growth partnerships: source, evaluate, and close distribution or bundling deals to expand Notion’s reach.
  • Scale the Notion platform: collaborate with engineering teams to scope and launch integrations, and coordinate co-marketing efforts.
  • Own end-to-end execution: manage deals with partners across various teams from negotiation through launch and review.
  • Shape partner strategy: identify, analyze, and prioritize new partnership opportunities, aligning on roadmaps and go-to-market plans.
Skills You’ll Need To Bring
  • 5+ years in business development, strategic partnerships, product, or growth roles within high-growth SaaS, platform, or marketplace companies.
  • High agency & bias for action: thrive in ambiguity, juggle multiple streams, and deliver impactful partnerships.
  • Executional excellence: experience in deal negotiation and cross-functional launch management.
  • Analytical fluency: ability to turn data into strategic insights.
  • Exceptional communication: storytelling in decks, docs, and in person.
Nice To Haves
  • Passion for Notion and its developer ecosystem.
  • Experience as an early business development or go-to-market hire at a fast-growing startup.
  • Comfort discussing APIs, integrations, and developer ecosystems.
  • Exposure to partnerships across regions (North America, EMEA, APAC).
