Business Development Manager, Fleet Upfitting | Utilimaster | Remote
Regular Employee | Salary Non-Exempt
Overview
As the Business Development Manager, Fleet Upfitting (Remote) for Utilimaster (A Shyft Brand), you will be accountable for driving new business with a focus on Commercial Truck Upfitters.
You will spend approximately 70% of your time on developing new business development, and 30% on nurturing your existing customer base. In addition, travel up to 50%.

- Generate and qualify new leads
- Develop and execute market penetration strategies
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline
- Negotiate and close complex leasing deals
- Represent us at industry events and prospect new clients

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and four or more (4+) years new business development experience (or) a High School Diploma/GED and eight or more (8+) years new business development experience
- 3+ years' outside sales experience with Commercial Truck Upfitters
- Proven lead generation and closing skills
- Strong prospecting and networking abilities
- Hunter mentality with a drive to exceed targets
- Proficient in Microsoft 365
- Ability to travel up to 50%
