Position Overview

As a Government Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing relationships and business with the US Federal Government and Aerospace sectors, promoting Anritsu Test & Measurement equipment and solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Build and strengthen strategic relationships with Federal Government customers across the US, collaborating with sales teams and representatives to increase order intake and brand awareness.
  2. Develop and support federal sales strategies through various channels.
  3. Manage proposal processes for government contracts and projects, coordinating with internal teams on pricing, specifications, and negotiations.
  4. Act as the PoC for GSA FAS Catalog updates and manage product listings and pricing.
  5. Serve as Project Manager for IDIQ or multi-year projects, ensuring contractual compliance.
  6. Promote Federal Government business successes internally and externally.
  7. Coordinate VIP engagements and product launches for government clients.
  8. Collaborate on managing complex strategic opportunities across regions.
  9. Conduct market analysis and gather competitive intelligence to inform product development and customer engagement.
  10. Organize seminars and webinars on key technologies for government audiences.
  11. Provide customer feedback for new product development and communicate market trends to management.
  12. Work with Marketing to refine value propositions and brand messaging.
  13. Represent Anritsu at industry events and consortiums.
Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field; Master’s or MBA preferred.
  • At least 4 years of experience in program management, system development, or related fields supporting government contracts.
  • Experience with system test and evaluation, and knowledge of DoD processes and RF/microwave applications.
  • Strong communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce, and extensive professional network.
  • Willingness to travel 40-50%.
