We are seeking a dynamic and results-drivenBusiness Development Managerto lead our growth efforts in the data center sector. This role will focus on building relationships with data center owners, colocation providers, and contractors, introducing them to our innovative solutions that reduce construction timelines and increase operational efficiency.

What you’ll do:

  • Cold calling, account management, presentation development, closing deals
  • Track all sales contacts, meetings, opportunities, proposals, and orders
  • Identify and engage with key decision-makers at data center companies, colocation providers, and construction firms.
  • Promote our temporary utility solutions, including power and temperature control systems, as a strategic advantage during construction and commissioning phases.
  • Develop and execute a territory or vertical-specific sales strategy to drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and operations teams to tailor solutions that meet client needs.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities and provide accurate sales forecasting.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights on how our solutions can improve project timelines and profitability.

We’re experts, which means you’ll have the following skills and experience:

  • 7-10 years of direct business to business sales experience
  • Advanced Knowledge of targeted territory
  • Advanced Knowledge of the Data Center industry
  • Proficiency with a CRM (i.e., Salesforce)
  • Partnership with other areas of the Aggreko business (Ops, Fleet, Logistics)
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
