Qualifications

• Must have a B.S. degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field.
• Proven ability to lead market development initiatives and partnerships.
• Experience designing and licensing business models in technology-driven spaces.
• Strong track record in global relationship development and negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and build the business models necessary to drive success in the space.
• Execute complex agreements from inception to conclusion and advise on complex global issues.
• Design key elements of complex agreements to manage commercial / geopolitical / regulatory and other risks while maximizing value.
• Lead high value / complex / multi-party negotiations with counterparties and Governments as appropriate.
• Lead alignment of internal stakeholders to define corporate external positions to maximize value.
• Create and execute complex external influence plans and internal persuasive narratives to support strategy implementation within specific tasks.

What role you will play in our team

We are seeking a highly experienced and forward-thinking Business Developer to lead the development and execution of business opportunities in the new business area for ExxonMobil. This role combines deep domain expertise, innovation leadership, and operational excellence to develop new business models, commercial relationships and business partnership with potential 3P’s along the value chain.

What You Will Do

• Develop and build the business models necessary to drive success in the space


• Execute complex agreements from inception to conclusion and advise on complex global issues

About You

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• B.S. degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field


• 10+ years commercial experience across the bio and/or chemical industry


• Experience in the bio-technology sector


• Broad market development capability with leadership experience in developing and / or executing in new business spaces


• Trained in technology competencies


• Business model design experience, including technology licensing models


• Global relationship development experience
