About the Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity to join ALM WA as a Business Development Manager. Reporting to the IBA Sales & Retail Development Manager (WA), this role is critical in driving sales growth across both metropolitan and regional Western Australia. You’ll support and develop our network of IBA retailers including Cellarbrations, The Bottle-O, Porters Liquor, and Liquor@, and help them become the best stores in town.

In this Role

  • Drive execution of ALM and banner strategies across the IBA store network.
  • Identify and pursue business development opportunities to expand our retailer footprint.
  • Conduct business reviews with members to support sales and growth initiatives.
  • Maintain store compliance with branding, promotional, and retail standards.
  • Support and implement E-Commerce and Loyalty Program initiatives.
  • Assist with store layouts, design projects, and retail refreshes in partnership with internal teams.
  • Deliver training and development to retailers, using ALM’s Training Academy.

You’re Likely a Match If

  • Have retail or supplier experience in the liquor or FMCG industry.
  • Possess a solid understanding of retail operations and point-of-sale systems.
  • Have strong commercial acumen and the ability to complete business plans and performance reviews.
  • Communicate effectively and build relationships at all business levels.
  • Are proactive, self-motivated, and have excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Are comfortable travelling to regional WA areas when required
