We are dedicated to delivering high-quality, reliable services to multi-tenant and multi-dwelling communities while expanding our presence among Small and Medium Commercial (SMC) customers. We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth across MDU/MTE and SMC segments, particularly in new markets.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for promoting and selling broadband, connectivity, and related services to developers, owners, property managers, and Small and Medium Commercial businesses. This role focuses on generating MDU/MTE, bulk, greenfield, and commercial opportunities through prospecting, relationship development, solution selling, and contract negotiation while consistently achieving sales targets.

This position will cover the southeastern Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey footprint and can be located anywhere within this geographic region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, prospect, qualify, and generate new MTE/MDU and Small and Medium Commercial (SMC) sales opportunities within assigned markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, property managers, chambers of commerce, builders, business associations, HOAs, and commercial decision-makers.
  • Develop and execute strategic prospecting plans to acquire new SMC customers through direct outreach, networking, referrals, and community engagement.
  • Own the full sales cycle for SMC accounts, including discovery, proposal development, presentations, negotiation, closing, and account transition.
  • Conduct presentations and demonstrations of Greenlight services for MDU, MTE, and commercial prospects.
  • Negotiate contracts and service agreements with property managers, HOAs, business owners, and commercial stakeholders.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process and support ongoing relationship management.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive activity, and growth opportunities in both MDU and SMC segments.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline activity, and customer interactions within CRM systems.
  • Collaborate with marketing, construction, operations, and technical teams to ensure successful implementation and service delivery.
  • Act as a Greenlight Ambassador at local events, trade shows, chamber functions, and other activities that build brand awareness and drive commercial sales.
  • This role requires the use of your personal vehicle to drive between markets and attend client meetings and sales calls. A valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and the ability to maintain insurability under the company's auto policy are essential.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
  • Demonstrated success identifying, prospecting, developing, and closing new Small and Medium Commercial accounts.
  • Proven track record managing a sales pipeline and consistently meeting or exceeding sales and revenue targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with CRM platforms and sales enablement tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to travel within Greenlight Networks footprint on a consistent basis.
Education and Experience
  • Minimum of 2+ years of field sales experience, preference given to those with successful sales experience in the commercial real estate, construction, broadband, cable, or telecom industries.
