MGA Home Healthcare North Carolina LLC is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand referrals and revenue within the assigned healthcare market. You will build and maintain relationships with hospitals, nursing facilities, physicians, and other care providers, conducting in-person visits and community outreach to educate about private-duty nursing and home-care services.

Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a business development strategy to increase referrals and revenue. Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, rehabilitation centers, skilled nursing facilities, physicians, case managers, social workers, discharge planners, assisted living communities, senior communities, and other referral sources. Identify and develop new referral opportunities within the assigned market. Conduct regular in-person visits, presentations, networking activities, and community outreach. Educate referral partners and families about our private-duty nursing and home-care services. Maintain an organized pipeline of prospects, referral sources, and business opportunities. Track outreach activities, referrals, conversion rates, and revenue growth. Collaborate with clinical and operations teams to ensure a smooth transition from referral to client admission. Represent the company professionally at healthcare events, networking meetings, senior-care events, and community organizations. Monitor market trends and competitor activity and identify opportunities for growth. Establish long-term partnerships that increase brand awareness and referral volume. Prepare regular business development reports and provide recommendations to leadership.
2+ years of experience in healthcare sales, business development, marketing, home care, private-duty nursing, hospice, senior care, or a related field preferred. Strong understanding of healthcare referral relationships and the senior‑care market. Excellent communication, presentation, networking, and relationship‑building skills. Proven ability to develop new business and meet or exceed growth goals. Self‑motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently. Professional, compassionate, and trustworthy. Strong follow‑up skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple referral relationships and opportunities simultaneously. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, spreadsheets, and business development reporting. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory.
