Job Description

Lead a team of sales professionals to grow sales and capture new business. Build solid relationships with customers, vendors, distributors, and internal sales and marketing teams. Develop in-depth knowledge of company offerings to identify profitable business opportunities.

Review and suggest adjustments on sales volume and product mix by staying current with changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors. Develop sales action plans for new product launches, including outlining new customer prospecting strategies.

Assist marketing efforts by providing market and competitive insights and suggesting strategies to expand market opportunities. Assess current marketing and sales programs and recommend improvements. Prepare documentation for requests for proposals (RFPs).

Research emerging trends and recommend new company offerings to meet marketplace and customer needs. Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow the business, evaluating existing efforts and building on successful initiatives.

Manage key client relationships and work to establish new ones. Expand the company's profile and brand reach by building strong relationships across sales, marketing, customer service, and management teams. Develop internal and external relationships to increase lead generation and market share.

Build cross-functional teams to foster sustainable, long-term growth. Track emerging markets and trends, maintaining an entrepreneurial growth culture throughout the organization.

Propose and develop strategic partnerships where appropriate. Help shape the company's long-term objectives and develop plans to achieve them. Research and identify new markets, providing advice on product development, distribution, and promotion strategies.

Conduct presentations to enhance brand or product visibility and present business or marketing opportunities to management. Work closely with the marketing team. Target buyers include installing contractors, end users, business owners, facility management, and architects.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • 3+ years of business development experience in the epoxy or resin industry (commercial sales experience).
  • Existing contact list with at least 5 accounts with multiple sales per contact.
  • High School Diploma required.

Nice Haves:

  • 2+ years of leadership experience managing sales reps.
  • Experience building sales strategies for new product launches.

Travel expectations: 25% of the time.

Pay and Benefits

The salary range is $150,000 annually. Benefits include health plans, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, EAP services, and a Health Savings Account (HSA). This is a fully remote position. The application deadline is May 23, 2025.
