Overview

Seeking an experienced professional to lead business development efforts in Arizona, focusing on IBM's consulting growth platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain a sales pipeline exceeding $100M annually across IBM Consulting services: Business Transformation, Hybrid Cloud, and Client Security.
  • Develop strong client relationships at all levels, becoming a trusted advisor within State Government, City-County Government, and Education sectors.
  • Identify customer needs and translate them into IBM solution opportunities.
  • Construct and manage partnerships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to address business opportunities.
  • Support team collaboration and lead demand generation and delivery execution across IBM's growth platforms.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Proven track record in sales and business development, especially within government sectors.
  • Strong executive presence and relationship-building skills with C-suite and mid-management clients.
  • Ability to understand diverse business sectors including Health and Human Services, Transportation, Tax, Revenue, and Education.
  • Experience working with or selling to State and Local Government clients preferred.
  • Ability to work remotely from anywhere in the US.
