Position Summary

The Contingent Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities within the Arizona territory. This role is designed for professionals who thrive in a performance-driven environment and are motivated by building relationships, generating revenue, and contributing to the growth of an emerging technology company.

This is an independent contractor role with compensation tied directly to business generated and revenue collected from signed client agreements.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a territory growth strategy within Arizona.

• Generate qualified meetings and sales opportunities.
• Conduct discovery discussions and coordinate demonstrations with Pointora leadership.
• Build relationships with executives, business owners, and operational decision-makers.
• Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities and provide periodic status updates.
• Participate in networking events, industry associations, and business development activities.
• Collaborate with Pointora leadership on proposals, presentations, and contract negotiations.

Identify and engage prospective clients within Pointora's target markets, including:

• Financial Services
• Credit Unions
• Mortgage and Lending Organizations
• Property Management Companies
• Small and Mid-Market Businesses seeking workflow automation

Qualifications

Required

• Proven business development, sales, consulting, or relationship management experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Existing professional network within Arizona.

Compensation

Performance-Based Equity Opportunity

Pointora believes equity should be earned through measurable business impact and long-term contribution to the growth of the company. Business Development Executives may become eligible for equity participation based on achievement of performance objectives, revenue generation, strategic contributions, and overall impact on the business.

Any equity awards will be determined solely at the discretion of Pointora's Board of Directors or its designated leadership committee and will be subject to the terms of the company's governing documents, equity plan, and applicable grant agreements. Eligibility for equity consideration does not guarantee an equity award.

Revenue Participation

• Compensation is performance-based and tied directly to executed client agreements.
• Business Development Executives will earn 20% of first-year collected revenue from self-sourced client relationships that result in signed agreements with Pointora.
• Commissions will be paid based upon revenue collected by Pointora.
• Revenue participation applies only to opportunities originated and materially supported by the Business Development Executive.
