Job summary

Opensity Solutions is seeking a Business Development Specialist to support a global law firm's client development initiatives. This hybrid role includes remote Mondays and Fridays, with in-office Tue–Thu, working directly with lawyers, clients, and leadership.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, with 3–6+ years in BD/marketing/events. Strong communication, event planning, and CRM experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–6+ years in business development, marketing, events, or related professional services.
• Ability to travel as needed and present with confidence to executives.
• Strong project management and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; professional presence with lawyers and leadership.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems like SharePoint or InterAction.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute client-facing events, sponsorships, seminars, webinars, and thought leadership programs.
• Partner with lawyers, business development professionals, and administrative teams on event strategies.
• Manage all event phases: audience targeting, invitations, registration, logistics, engagement, and follow-up.
• Track attendance, client engagement, follow-up activity, and overall business development impact.
• Prepare post-event reports and ROI recommendations for future programs.
• Collaborate with BD, marketing, communications, events, and operations to support market strategy.
• Maintain event and client engagement data in CRM and BD systems.
• Draft client communications, invitations, materials, and internal reporting.
• Support multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
