As a key team member, you'll leverage your deep HUB and Pharma services expertise to develop and execute strategic sales plans, build key relationships, and drive significant revenue growth. Experience with reimbursement HUB sales or direct sales of pharma services to brand teams is required.

Position Summary:

The Business Development Director for Patient Services will drive revenue growth for COPILOT by securing new partnerships with pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, and other healthcare organizations. This role focuses on selling complex, enterprise-level patient support solutions, including technology platforms and integrated services. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, results-oriented individual with a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas in the healthcare industry.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets for patient support solutions.
  • Identify, qualify, and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers within target organizations.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client challenges and develop tailored solutions.
  • Lead complex sales cycles, including presentations, proposals, contract negotiations, and closing deals.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, accurately forecasting revenue and managing sales activity within CRM.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams (e.g., product development, operations, solutions management, sales analysis, and marketing) to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in patient support and healthcare technology.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing materials and sales collateral
  • Must exhibit excellent skills in the following areas: verbal/written communication, computer/data entry/software proficiency, interpersonal and relationship-building skills, self-discipline, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

Education, Experience and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, or a related field, preferred.
  • 5-10 years of proven experience in business development or sales within the healthcare industry, specifically related to: Patient support services (e.g., HUB services, patient assistance programs), healthcare technology solutions (e.g., CRM, patient engagement platforms) and/or managed markets or pharmaceutical sales.
  • Demonstrated success in selling complex, enterprise-wide technology and service solutions to large organizations.
  • Consistent track record of meeting and exceeding multi-million-dollar annual sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare landscape, including regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA) and reimbursement models.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to build robust relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Self-directed and highly motivated with a strong work ethic and results-oriented approach.
  • Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel domestically as needed.
  • Must be a team player willing to accept and promote organizational goals and function with minimal supervision.
