Job Description:

The Business Development Coordinator supports the litigation business development (BD) team with client and prospective client requests, event logistics coordination and departmental system maintenance. This position works with members of the BD team to provide administrative business development support to attorneys in the designated practice groups. The Business Development Coordinator works under general supervision and relies on limited experience and guidelines to plan and accomplish goals.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Compile client and prospective client requested information and draft responses for requests for proposals (RFP’s) and pitches, track results and prepare summary reports
  • Track client information in the client relationship management (CRM) system
  • Collect and coordinate matter tracking information in the firm’s central matter tracking system
  • Assist with event management and logistics, including supporting speaker outreach and coordination, program management, reporting and various logistics
  • Coordinate webinars, including coordinating with the marketing team to prepare invitation, compiling invite list in CRM system, securing CLE credit, liaising with lawyers on materials, and handling logistics for execution of the webinar
  • Gather information and details for legal directory and league table submissions
  • Create and update business development collateral, including brochures, one-pagers and presentations
  • Draft entries for legal awards and nominations
  • Prepare lists for targeting from our internal CRM and other external platforms for various events and initiatives.
  • Assist with various administrative and project management tasks
  • Develop strong working relationships with practice attorneys and other members of the BD team
  • Compile business and industry research in support of new business opportunities
Job Specifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Familiarity with client relationship management (CRM) software

Target Hiring Range $72,000 - $90,000
Please note that quoted salary ranges are not guarantees of what final salary offers may be. Base pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. Base pay is only one part of the Total Rewards that MWE provides to compensate and recognize our staff professionals for their work. Full time positions are eligible for a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
