Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital, LLC seeks an Account Manager for healthcare business development and liaison activities. You will work between the facility, community, and referral sources to foster outpatient services, discuss eligibility with leadership, and track data for trending purposes.

The role splits duties between community liaison and program implementation, with data entry into MedSeries 4/MIDAS/MEDIK.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field required.
• Two (2) year experience in health care, business development or marketing with measurable results required.
• Valid driver’s license and car insurance with acceptable driving record.
• Understanding of the process for mental health referrals and treatment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and service excellence skills.
• Detail oriented and able to multi-task and change directions quickly.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in person, over the phone and in front of audiences.
• Presents oneself in a positive and professional manner through appearance and conduct.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs. Ability to apply technical and computer/software skills.
• Able to adjust personal schedule to accommodate the needs of the facility.

• Communicating eligibility to key members of senior leadership and associated departments and daily collecting of facility data specific to Outpatient eligibility for trending purposes.
• Implement the components of the Step-Down program with a thorough understanding of the Inpatient workflow process, as it pertains to case management and discharge planning.
• Maintaining up-to-date information in MedSeries 4/MIDAS/MEDIK, including documentation of daily contacts and accurate account information.
• Performs other duties as assigned/required by this position.

Responsibilities

Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital provides inpatient treatment services to adolescents and adults at our 86-bed facility in Panama City, FL and outpatient services to adolescents and adults at our four outpatient centers located throughout the Florida Panhandle. Additionally, we offer specialized treatment for active-duty military members through our Military Resiliency Program, specialized chemical dependency treatment and TMS therapy for chronic depression.

The Account Manager directly serves as the liaison between the facility, the community, and referring agencies. This role is directly responsible for creating demand for the facility’s services, implementing the facility’s strategic plan, enhancing the departmental and facility goals. As Step-Navigator is responsible for meeting with all eligible patients to discuss the benefits of Outpatient Services as part of their continuum of care treatment. The Stepdown-Navigator will be responsible for communicating eligibility to key members of senior leadership & associated departments and will be responsible for data collection and entry to Midas and implementing components of Playbook as needed. Time will be split 50/50 between the two duties.
