As a Business Development Leader - Controller Applications, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, closing, and managing new technology partner application opportunities. This role is crucial for expanding the Mercury MP controller platform through third-party technology partnerships. You will collaborate with product marketing and technical teams to evaluate new opportunities, ensuring they align strategically with the brand and business philosophy of HID and Mercury. You will own and manage the technology partner ecosystem, driving marketing initiatives and building senior-level relationships within partner organizations to achieve strategic alignment and measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize, and execute business development strategies to grow the Mercury Technology Partner ecosystem.
  • Identify, develop, close, and manage new technology partner application opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to evaluate opportunities.
  • Ensure strategic fit of technology with HID and Mercury product families.
  • Manage the technology partner ecosystem according to business strategies.
  • Drive marketing initiatives within the partner community.
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior partners to ensure strategic alignment and advocacy.
  • Report on business development activities and outcomes to senior management.
  • Negotiate and facilitate contractual arrangements with partners, working with HID management and legal teams.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in technology or business; relevant experience considered.
  • At least 8 years of experience in access control/security markets.
  • Experience in international sales is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of the security industry, including key manufacturers and solutions.
  • Proven success in technical sales and building partner ecosystems.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
  • Technical understanding of HID products is a plus.
  • Partner-first approach and excellent interpersonal skills, including engaging with C-suite executives.
