As a Business Development Leader - Controller Applications, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, closing, and managing new technology partner application opportunities. This role is crucial in expanding the Mercury MP controller platform through third-party technology partnerships. You will collaborate with product marketing and technical teams to evaluate new opportunities, ensuring they align with the strategic goals of HID and Mercury. You will manage the technology partner ecosystem, driving marketing initiatives and building senior-level relationships within partner organizations to achieve strategic and measurable outcomes.

Your role as Business Development Leader, Controller Apps, includes:

  • Planning and executing strategies to grow the Mercury Technology Partner ecosystem.
  • Identifying and managing new technology partner application opportunities.
  • Collaborating with marketing and technical teams to evaluate opportunities.
  • Ensuring strategic fit with HID and Mercury product philosophies.
  • Managing the technology partner ecosystem aligned with business strategy.
  • Driving marketing initiatives within and outside the partner community.
  • Building and maintaining senior relationships within partner organizations.
  • Providing updates on activities, progress, and outcomes to senior management.
  • Negotiating contractual arrangements with partners in collaboration with HID management and legal teams.

Your experience and background should include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology or business, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 8 years of experience in access control/security markets.
  • Experience in international sales is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of security industry products, solutions, and channel structures.
  • Proven success in technical security product sales and building partner ecosystems.
  • Willingness to travel globally as needed.
  • Technical understanding of HID’s product portfolio is advantageous.
  • Partner-first approach and excellent interpersonal skills, including with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Channel partner management experience and technical aptitude.

The salary range in the US is $94,000 to $129,000, with an OTE up to $215,000.
