Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; related experience preferred.
• Two years of experience in detailed document preparation preferred.
• Valid Virginia Driver's License is required.
• Completion of National Incident Management System (IS-100 and IS-700) within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Oversees social media presence on relevant platforms.
• Maintains Economic Development Page of the Campbell County website.
• Drafts and designs monthly newsletter from department.
• Coordinates ongoing communication from Department to business community through website.
• Sets up and conducts interviews with business owners and farms for business spotlights.
• Drafts and distributes press releases pertaining to grants and Economic Development projects.
