Job summary

The JTC Group invites applications for a Business Development Associate who will drive new sales opportunities for domestic and international clients. You will assist the head of domestic business development, the sales team, trust officers and financial advisors with proposals, inquiries and pipeline management using Salesforce.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in sales, account management, or customer service.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field or equivalent.
• Knowledge of trust, legal and investments is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

PURPOSE OF JOB

The Business Development Associate manages new sales opportunities for domestic and international sales for the JTC trust companies. Responsible for assisting, reporting and coordination of new business development. Assisting the head of domestic business development, sales team, trust officers and financial advisors with new business proposals, inquiries from prospects, management of sales pipeline via Salesforce, client meetings and various administrative tasks. Attend conferences as needed. This position offers unique levels of service that will solidify the differentiated experience offered by JTC.

Main Responsibilities And Duties

• To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Partner with the Sales Manager in the day-to-day management of the sales platform including additional sales support, responding to inquiries and opportunities from our partners and financial advisors; and any leads generated through JTC’s network, JTC’s website, and Wealth Advisor Leads.
• Management of closed business and sales pipeline reporting capturing key business analytics for internal reporting.
• Management of reporting to partners of closed business and current sales pipeline.
• Coordination and management the end-to-end KYC process
• Conducting preliminary reviews of trust documents and statement of assets in order to build out sales opportunities
• Coordinating with sales representatives on scheduling new accounts for acceptance.
• Management of the SalesForce platform
• Responsible for the on-going training of current employees as well as the development and presentation of material to new hires with regards to SalesForce and sales processes
• Expand and deepen JTC’s relationships with existing and new partners via regular communication and email.
• Managing and updating marketing material with partner platforms.
• Coordination of client events; speaking engagements and sales conferences
• Creation of presentation material and analytic reporting

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in sales, account management, or customer service (preferably within a corporate or professional services environment).
• Knowledge of and experience in trust, legal and investments.
• Experience in both Sales and Operations
• Ability to take on multiple tasks simultaneously and manage effectively.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to travel
• High personal interaction skills and team player.
