We are looking for an energetic business development associate to align with our sales and marketing teams to help take our organization to the next level. You will attract new clients and build solid relationships with them while maintaining existing relationships. Other duties will include market research, developing business strategies and pitches, managing a variety of Sales Campaigns, and identifying new business opportunities. You will work with various departments and report to a Regional Sales Manager.
The successful applicant will need to be resourceful, organized, and motivated to increase sales, enhance the company's reputation, and look for new and creative ways to market our products. A background in sales or marketing is strongly desirable. Responsiveness and persistence are key in this position. This role offers Career paths within both our Sales and Marketing Teams but per KiZAN culture we want you to take the path that is best suited for you and will help you expand your knowledge for those roles.
Responsibilities
- Develop and leverage relationships internally with KiZAN departments.
- Expand and maintain the Microsoft relationships within your assigned territory by setting meetings, attending Teams meetings, in-person events, providing follow-up activities.
- Qualify and manage incoming sales leads from marketing team as well as Account Executives.
- Proactively contact prospects and be able to evangelize KiZAN solutions and services.
- Record and track sales activities in KiZAN Salesforce daily.
- Drive sales to new and existing accounts via telephone, email and marketing campaigns.
- Work to get KiZAN on approved vendor lists for customers
- Provide backup customer support for Account Executives as needed
- Transition prospects to an Account Executive by providing detailed and accurate information.
- Attend in-person marketing events as necessary
- Utilize research tools and record client data in Salesforce for marketing campaigns
- Provide necessary documentation to clients as directed by Account Executives
Minimum Requirements
- Sales experience is desired
- Experience using a CRM system
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- High level of commitment to exceptional customer service and relationship
- Ability to travel, overnight up to 25%
- Ability to travel independently; if by car, a valid driver’s license or reliable method of transportation is required
- Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship
