The company seeks a Business Development Associate to own relationships with highly recognized national clients and help them bring their visions to life.

Qualifications

• Capable of developing a strategic plan to penetrate and grow a book of business
• 5+ years of networking and relationships in the construction industry
• Knowledge of commercial market segments/sub‑segments/project types (Retail, Restaurant, Hotel, Healthcare – Ambulatory Services, etc.)
• Successful track record of accessing how customer organizations are structured and positioning accordingly
• Capable of producing inorganic prospects and properly pursuing opportunities
• Ability to determine what the customer values and deliver value propositions that differentiate
• Diligent at debriefing win/loss with customers and internal operations
• Deep experience presenting RFQ/RFP in interview settings with customers
• Understands a service‑based sales cycle (extended cycle)
• Coordinates well across business functions with preconstruction and operations
• Ability to write/coordinate RFP/RFQs and prepare for interviews
• Ability to travel nationally 25–40% of the time
• Works well on teams
• 4‑year degree in Business Administration, Construction Management or equivalent experience
• Presentation skills that represent the company's core values

This position is based out of our corporate office in Lewisville, TX. Candidates must be able to travel nationally 25–40% of the time.
