Job summary

Corpay is seeking a Business Development Associate in New York City to join their Cross Border team. The ideal candidate will work with a seasoned sales team to generate new business opportunities in currency risk management and global payment solutions for small to medium-sized businesses across North America. Candidates should possess strong communication skills in both French and English, along with the ability to engage with business leaders effectively.

Job description

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Business Development Associate. This position falls under our Cross Border line of business and is located inNew York City.In this roleyou’llcollaborate with a high-performing and seasoned sales team to foster new business opportunities in North America within the foreign exchange arena, delivering industry leading currency risk management and global payment solutions to Small-medium sized businesses across thecontinent.You will report directly toDirector of Business Developmentand regularly collaborate withaccountmanagersandother sales team membersto deliver currency risk management and global payment solutions.

How We Work

As a Business Development Associate, you will be expected to work ing our New York City office. Corpay will set you up for success by providing :

  • Assigned workspace in the New York City office
  • Formal, hands-on training

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Positioning your conversationstowards business owners, C-suite executives, and finance leaders, whereyou'llarticulate customized solutions for their currency risk management and global payment needs.
  • Collaboratingwith a high-performing and seasoned sales team to foster new business opportunities in North America within the foreign exchange arena
  • Responsiblefordelivering industry leading currency risk management and global payment solutions to Small-medium sized businesses across the continent.
  • Executingdaily outreach to potential businesses, engaging in cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn messaging to either qualify and book meetings with new leads, or disqualify them as needed
  • Creatingnew business opportunities for the firmwhile simultaneouslyadvancingyour sales skills and career within the dynamic field of foreign exchange and financial services

Qualifications & Skills

  • 0-4 years of experience in customer service, inside sales, or similar position.
  • Post-secondary education or relevant work experience.
  • Fluency in both French and English, with the ability to communicate and sell effectively in both languages.
  • Highlyself-motivated and competitive with a strong drive to generate new business opportunities.
  • Intuitive and Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit in your approach to finding new business opportunities.
  • Inspired by the work you do, the goals you achieve and the opportunities you create.

This salary range is provided for locations which require such disclosure. Where a position or applicant may fall in a particular wage range varies depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications (if applicable), and other business and organization needs. The disclosed range has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic markets. At Corpay, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. An estimate of the OTE range is $80,000 - $85,000.
