Job summary

You will field incoming calls, maintain professional relationships with prospects and clients, gather customer insights, prepare quotations, track orders, and collaborate

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of successful Business Development experience.
• Effective use of information systems (ERP, MS Word/Excel).
• Proficient in English and Mandarin (both written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Field incoming calls for necessary action, feed contact into the manager for BD follow-up.
• Maintain a positive and professional business relationship with prospects and clients.
• Gain insight into the customer’s organization, processes, and needs to better serve the customer.
• Master the understanding of complex customer programs and requirements.
• Be a champion at resolving customer complaints.
• React proactively to idle issues impacting Business Development initiatives and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare quotations and sales bids timely and accurately.
• Collaborate with Operations, by acting as the customer advocate.
• Track orders and shipments.
• Assist with administrative management, supplies inventory and storage as directed.
• All other duties assigned by the VP of Business Development.

Description

We are seeking a qualified, goal-focused, Business Development Assistant to join our firm. This is an essential position in our company and will play a significant role in converting business development initiatives into new business with focus on client satisfaction and revenue growth. This individual will be outgoing, dynamic, self-motivated and enthusiastic about working with customers and fellow peers.
