Position Summary

KOLON USA is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to support automotive customer development, project management, and business expansion activities in North America. This role will work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams in both North America and Korea to support automotive interior materials programs and development projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in the automotive industry
• Experience in automotive textiles, interior materials, or related industries preferred
• Basic to intermediate English communication skills required
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and suppliers through emails, meetings, and daily business interactions
• Experience in customer support, project coordination, or program management preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and schedules simultaneously
• Willingness to travel frequently within the U.S. and Mexico
• Flexible and proactive attitude with the ability to support customer sites, suppliers, and project-related activities on-site

Key Responsibilities

Customer Development & Project Management

• Support North American customer development projects in collaboration with the Korea team
• Manage project timelines, customer requirements, and development activities
• Coordinate sample development, customer approvals, and program launch schedules
• Track project progress and ensure timely completion of key milestones

Customer & Supplier Coordination

• Communicate with customers and suppliers across the U.S. and Mexico
• Support issue resolution related to quality, delivery, and project operations
• Follow up on customer requests and operational requirements
• Maintain effective communication between customers, suppliers, and internal teams

Production & Supply Chain Support

• Support production planning and supply stabilization activities
• Coordinate with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure smooth operations
• Monitor project status, production schedules, and operational performance

Localization & Business Expansion Support

• Support localization initiatives for North American operations
• Assist with new business development opportunities and program launches
• Support overall project execution for the automotive interior materials business

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers
• Knowledge of automotive development and launch processes
• Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English is a plus
