Pensacola State College seeks a 12-month Business Department Head to lead the department and oversee day-to-day operations, scheduling, faculty supervision, budget, and curriculum updates.

The role reports to the Dean of Baccalaureate Studies and Academic Support and requires a master's degree, plus several years of post-secondary leadership or teaching experience and a background check.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in business, management, or related field.
• Four years of related full-time post-secondary teaching or administrative experience.
• Background check required.

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day operations of the department.
• Supervise all programs offered by the department.
• Develop course schedules and assign faculty to courses.
• Supervise and evaluate departmental faculty and staff.
• Manage the departmental budget and advise students.
• Review and update departmental curricula; hire adjunct faculty.
• Work toward resolution of student complaints, serve on college committees.
• Oversee planning and assessment activities.
