Google is seeking a mid-level Business Data Scientist for YouTube Transparency and Compliance Metrics. You will join a cross-functional team, conducting data collection, analysis, and synthesis to inform executive decisions.

You will build models, validate data quality, and communicate insights to senior leaders, shaping transparency reporting and data infrastructure strategy.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a quantitative discipline is required or equivalent practical experience.

US: $138000 - $197000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

• Deliver data for transparency reporting globally, moving from our current report-focused approach to a holistic, scaled production and validation strategy.
• Develop and evaluate new statistical models and metrics for measuring our business in a way that is appropriate for regulatory reporting.
• Curate and validate data to ensure quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand the domain, business goals, and data infrastructure context.
• Execute against project timelines and milestones to meet evolving business needs, working with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of data products and solutions.
