Position: Business Data Analyst

Location: Tampa, FL (2 Days Onsite – Hybrid)

Duration: 12+ Months (with possible extension)

Pay Rate: $60-$70/hr. (Depending upon the experience)

Client Note:- The ideal candidate should have strong Data Analytical skills with good sql expertise. Around 10 years of Financial Services experience as well as background in dealing with Trading/Lending/Loans systems across various line of business will be an added advantage.

Job Description:

Experience in implementing data solutions and Knowledge of big data platform will be a significant advantage. The candidate will work closely with the product owner, Data Analysts, various technology teams, and core developers. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential to be successful in this role. On the Technology perspective, the candidate should have strong SQL knowledge.

Skills:

• Expertise in financial industry - wholesale loans /lending business OR Capital Markets Broker/Dealer or Finance or Risk Reporting

• Experience with database and SQL is required.

• Proficiency in Excel for data analysis.

• Experience with Data tracing/ Lineage efforts

• Knowledge of logical and physical data models

Responsibilities:

• Analyze data requirements and identify disparate data sources required for consolidation and distribution.

• Document functional specifications

• Review logical and conceptual data models in alignment with business requirements.

• produce business specifications, functional design, and associated documentation.

• Validate solution implementations and ensure they meet business and functional requirements.

• Provide production deployment support and investigate data quality issues.

Education: Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Master’s degree
