Job description

Our client, an American multinational mass media and entertainment conglomerate, is hiring a Business Data Analyst to join their portfolio and strategic insights team that builds data-driven insights for their resort and vacation line of business.

As an Analyst on this team, you would analyze large data sets and identify patterns, build automated pipelines and workflows using SQL, Python, and Snowflake, and create dashboards for key stakeholders.

The ideal candidate would have previous data analytics experience and strong data querying and pipeline experience using SQL, Python, and Snowflake.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Business, Finance, Data Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a business, program, or data analyst role.
• Experience applying AI tools to automate workflows, analyze large datasets, and improve business processes.
• Working knowledge of SQL and experience building or maintaining data pipelines, automated workflows, or ETL processes.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as Claude and GitHub (Cursor also available) to accelerate development, analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite, with the ability to learn and adapt.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience improving broad sweeping processes with multiple key stakeholders and varying criteria.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau and the core concepts of relational data.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python) and automation tools (e.g., Power Automate).
• Working knowledge of Snowflake native objects and features (e.g., streams, tasks, stored procedures), or strong eagerness to learn.
