We are seeking a motivated and analytical Data Analyst to join our team. The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting data to support business decision-making. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, proficiency in SQL and Excel, and experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

This position is suitable for entry-level candidates as well as professionals with up to 5 years of experience who are interested in building a career in data analytics and business intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Write SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from relational databases.
• Identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and insights from large datasets.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
• Create data visualizations to communicate analytical findings effectively.
• Prepare recurring and ad-hoc reports for business stakeholders.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and analytical needs.
• Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Support KPI development, tracking, and performance reporting.
• Assist with data modeling, data transformation, and ETL processes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 0-5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of SQL.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis.
• Experience with at least one data visualization tool such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Python and libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
• Understanding of statistical analysis and data modeling.
• Exposure to ETL/ELT concepts and data warehouses.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Understanding of business intelligence and KPI reporting.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
