Job description

As the Aerospace Business Data Labor Analyst, you will improve results and reduce risk in the business supply chain through the analysis of plant labor records, evaluation, and continuous improvement of labor tracking processes and compliance in daily production. This is an onsite position that can be based at our Grand Prairie, TX, Huntsville, AL, or Sylmar, CA locations. You will report to the Global Supply Chain Director.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide critical thinking to lead and direct analysis of alternative approaches and methodologies to improve consistency of labor reporting in our facilities.
2. Support establishing and maintaining standard work and best practices within manufacturing facilities for routine production and new programs.
3. Assist in creating operational information/data to enable timely, data-based business decisions and issue resolution.
4. Serve as the operational labor reporting subject matter expert, including timekeeping methods, ERP usage, routings, and analytics to identify and correct issues.
5. Identify and implement process improvements to ensure accuracy of employee data, projects, and time collection, including standardizing work order classifications/naming conventions across sites and working with the Kronos IT team to assess system functionality.
6. Set up and reconcile employee data in systems such as QAD, Workday, Kronos, and Replicon.
7. Develop and execute training plans for key plant personnel related to labor reporting.
8. Audit and follow up on time collection accuracy, employee data, clocking, supervisor approvals, and resolve data issues between Kronos and QAD; maintain and audit hourly rates in QAD.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including plant managers, operations managers, supervisors, and finance.
10. Identify and understand labor usage patterns.

Qualifications

• US Citizen
• Bachelor's Degree in a business, engineering, or other analytic discipline
• 3+ years of experience analyzing material or labor routings supporting costing structures and analysis or similar operations analysis roles
• Experience supporting data for government program tracking is preferred
• Experience with continuous improvement tools and leading related projects
• Ability to travel up to 25%
• Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 plus annual bonus
