IntePros is seeking an experienced Business Continuity Plan Coordinator to drive the completion of a Manufacturing BCP. This contract role is hands-on and focused on gathering critical information, leading cross-functional discussions, and documenting strategies within an established BCP template.

The role requires conducting BIAs, risk assessments, and dependency analyses, identifying gaps, and delivering a concise executive summary for leadership within about two months.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Business Continuity Planning or Emergency Management.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional sessions and gather requirements.
  • Experience conducting BIAs and risk assessments.
  • Strong writing and documentation skills for executive summaries.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate development and completion of a comprehensive BCP for manufacturing.
  • Utilize the existing BCP template to document required information.
  • Facilitate meetings with stakeholders across Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, IT, HR, and EHS.
  • Conduct and document BIAs, risk assessments, and operational dependency assessments.
  • Identify critical processes, risks, dependencies, and potential disruption points.
  • Document continuity, response, and recovery strategies with SMEs.
  • Identify gaps and coordinate with stakeholders to obtain needed information.
  • Maintain timelines, action items, and deliverables to meet the two-month deadline.
  • Consolidate inputs into a clear and actionable BCP.
  • Prepare an executive summary highlighting risks, dependencies, and recommendations.
  • Ensure final documentation is ready for leadership review.

Business Continuity Coordinator - Manufacturing

Project Timeline: Approximately 2 Months

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Continuity Plan (BCP) Coordinator to lead the completion of a comprehensive Business Continuity Plan supporting manufacturing operations. This is a hands-on, project-focused role responsible for gathering critical business information, facilitating cross-functional stakeholder discussions, conducting business impact and risk assessments, and documenting continuity strategies within an established BCP template. The primary objective of this engagement is to complete and finalize the organization's Manufacturing Business Continuity Plan within an approximately two-month timeframe, including delivery of a concise executive summary for leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the development and completion of a comprehensive Business Continuity Plan (BCP) for manufacturing operations.
  • Utilize the client's existing BCP template to gather, organize, document, and finalize required continuity information.
  • Facilitate meetings and working sessions with stakeholders across Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, IT, Human Resources, and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS).
  • Conduct and document Business Impact Analyses (BIA), risk assessments, and operational dependency assessments.
  • Identify critical business processes, operational risks, dependencies, resources, and potential points of disruption.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to document appropriate continuity, response, and recovery strategies.
  • Identify gaps in existing continuity planning and coordinate with stakeholders to obtain missing information or develop appropriate solutions.
  • Maintain project timelines, action items, stakeholder deliverables, and outstanding documentation to ensure completion within the required timeframe.
  • Consolidate information from multiple functional areas into a clear, comprehensive, and actionable BCP.
  • Prepare a polished executive summary highlighting key risks, dependencies, continuity strategies, and recommendations for leadership.
  • Ensure final documentation is accurate, organized, and ready for stakeholder and executive review.
Required Qualifications
  • Previous project experience involving Business Continuity Planning, Emergency Management, Crisis Management, Emergency Preparedness, Operational Resilience, or a closely related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience developing, updating, coordinating, or completing Business Continuity or Emergency Management plans.
  • Experience conducting or supporting Business Impact Analyses (BIA) and/or risk assessments.
  • Strong project coordination skills with the ability to independently drive deliverables within a defined timeline.
  • Experience facilitating discussions and gathering requirements from multiple cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong written communication and documentation skills, including the ability to synthesize complex information into clear plans and executive-level summaries.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
