Job summary

Togetherwork's Coaching Manager within DSOA leads the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing development of coaches delivering mentorship to members in the Inner Circle. You will partner with Curriculum Designer and Program Lead to ensure high-quality, scalable coaching aligned with member outcomes and retention goals.

This role requires strong people leadership, sharp coaching quality; you will collaborate with Marketing and Member Success on communications, events, and touchpoints.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years managing coaches or equivalent people-delivery function.
  • Ability to recruit, develop, and retain high-performing people or contractors.
  • Strong judgment about service or coaching quality, with the ability to give clear, constructive feedback.
  • Excellent communication, relationship, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple relationships and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate analytics and member feedback into coaching improvements.
  • Knowledge of the dance industry or passion for supporting small business owners is a plus.
  • Experience using AI tools to accelerate work or improve operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a strong roster of coaches, recruiting for the skills, experience, and fit DSOA members expect.
  • Design and run a consistent onboarding experience that equips new coaches to deliver value quickly.
  • Define clear role expectations, standards, and coaching guidelines so every member receives a dependable experience.
  • Set and uphold quality standards for coaching across the member base, from Inner Circle to broader membership.
  • Observe, evaluate, and develop coaches, providing feedback that continuously raises the bar.
  • Identify and address performance gaps early, and recognize and retain top coaching talent.
  • Maintain coaching resources, playbooks, and best practices in partnership with the Curriculum Designer.
  • Match members with the right coaches based on needs, goals, and studio profile to maximize impact.
  • Monitor member satisfaction with coaching and act quickly on feedback and escalations.
  • Partner with Member Success to connect coaching activity to engagement, retention, and renewal outcomes.
  • Partner closely with the Curriculum Designer to keep coaching and curriculum aligned and reinforcing one another.
  • Work with the Program Lead to plan coaching capacity, schedules, and coverage against program needs.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Member Success on coaching-related communications, events, and member touchpoints.
  • Track coaching metrics such as utilization, quality, member satisfaction, and impact on retention.
  • Translate coaching data and member feedback into recommendations that improve the program.
  • Report regularly on coaching health and outcomes to the Program Lead.

Role Summary

The Coaching Manager at DSOA owns the coaching function of the Inner Circle: the recruitment, onboarding, development, and ongoing support of the coaches who deliver mentorship and guidance to members. This role ensures coaching is high quality, consistent, and closely tied to the member outcomes and retention goals that drive DSOA's value.


Working alongside the Curriculum Designer, who owns the educational content members learn, the Coaching Manager owns the people and experience that bring that content to life. Together they ensure DSOA members receive a coaching experience that is expert, supportive, and worth renewing for. Success in this role requires strong people leadership, a sharp eye for coaching quality, and close partnership with the Program Lead, Member Success, and Marketing.


Key Responsibilities

Coach Recruitment & Onboarding


  • Build and maintain a strong roster of coaches, recruiting for the skills, experience, and fit DSOA members expect.
