Job Description

Manages a remote team of Business Card Consultants, focused on self-sourced opportunities that are new to the bank. Makes sales directly and/or through assigned sales staff to customers and prospects. Develops revenue, volume, and market share objectives for an assigned staff and market area. Establishes and achieves sales and budget goals and marketing strategies for the products/services sold. Maintains and develops profitable relationships with customers. Identifies and monitors market trends and competitors' actions to gain a competitive advantage. Develops and administers the annual budget for an assigned area. Builds relationships with industry associations. Trains, motivates, and manages assigned staff daily. Travels 1-2 times per month within the region to visit Consultants and attend sales meetings.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Typically eight to 10 years of relevant experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Prior experience leading a B2B sales team
  • Proven success in self-sourcing sales
  • People-centric and results-driven, with high accountability
  • History of developing Centers of Influence (COIs)
  • Knowledge of industry trends
  • Payments background a plus
  • Advanced sales strategies knowledge
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong management and leadership abilities
  • Experience in new business development and relationship management
  • Customer service and relations skills
  • Thorough knowledge of banking products/services, operations, and market trends
  • Ability to make independent decisions
