Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field with 12+ years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 10+ years, or a PhD with 8+ years.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret-level security clearance.
• Strong experience in architecture for business capabilities and enterprise business systems.
• Demonstrated ability to work across organizational boundaries and connect design to operational outcomes.
• Experience creating roadmaps and architecture guidance across multiple solutions or services.
• Strong stakeholder management and influence skills across business and technology organizations.
• Knowledge of TOGAF ADM or other architecture frameworks.

For our client, we are seeking a Business Capability Architect - Enterprise Focused to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space.

This role will shape enterprise capability architecture across complex business and technology landscapes, with a focus on aligning current-state and target-state designs to operational outcomes. You will help guide cross-functional decision-making by connecting standards, roadmaps, and solution direction across multiple initiatives and stakeholders. The position is ideal for an architect who can translate enterprise strategy into practical capability guidance that supports coherent progress across the organization.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $161,000 – $241,400 annually
