Job summary

Nusenda Credit Union is seeking a Business Banking Underwriter to underwrite conventional and SBA loan requests, analyze financial statements and collateral, and prepare clear approval packages.

Three to five years of related experience and a Bachelor's degree are required; you will work with Relationship Managers to ensure documentation and loan structuring align with risk appetite and SOPs.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of similar or related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite conventional and SBA loan requests within policy limits.
• Analyze financial statements and tax returns to assess cash flow and ratios.
• Apply policy metrics and document deviations with mitigations.
• Coordinate with Relationship Managers to ensure SBA checklist compliance.
