Huntington National Bank is seeking a Business Banking Underwriter III in the Dallas, TX area. The role focuses on underwriting commercial loans to assess credit worthiness and compliance with lending policy.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of underwriting experience, with authority to approve credits up to $3MM. In-office and flexible work arrangements are available depending on needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business or commercial underwriting in a centralized lending environment.
• Ability to underwrite credit exposures in excess of $2.5MM.
• Previous authority to underwrite and decision credits without additional signers.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+years’ experience with business or commercial underwriting in a centralized lending environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business related field
• Proven track record to support high levels of loan volume
• Ability to underwrite credit exposures in excess of $2.5MM
• Previous authority to underwrite and decision credits without additional signers
• Demonstrates confidence, assertiveness, professionalism, and ability to interact with all levels within the organization in a professional manner
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office and other internet resources
• Ability to work independently on multiple tasks without compromising quality
• Excellence in customer service, highly motivated, focused and goal oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including grammar and demeanor
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, planning and follow-up

Compensation Range

$70,000 - $140,000 Annual Salary

The compensation range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and education. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan. In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
