Description

The Business Banking Market Manager RM II will lead a team of Relationship Managers serving Business Banking clients in the $10MM – $50MM market segment. The Market Manager is responsible for achieving financial and sales targets through coaching and managing the team according to the Business Banking DRIVE sales process, including cold calling and necessary documentation.

  • Develop the skills and competencies of team members, maintaining optimal staffing levels.
  • Focus on identifying and closing cross-sell opportunities and acquiring new business within assigned branches.
  • Provide coaching and oversight of sales activities aligned with DRIVE expectations.
  • Lead, develop, and motivate the sales team, fostering professional growth and maximizing contribution. Recruit new sales staff to strengthen the team and enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in business sales development.
  • 5+ years of experience leading a sales team to meet targets.
  • 5+ years of credit experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation skills.
  • Ability to operate within a matrix organization and collaborate across lines of business.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, or similar software.
  • Deep knowledge of banking deposit and credit products and services.
  • Understanding of bank operations, systems, and compliance/regulatory issues.

Education

  • Undergraduate degree preferred or equivalent work experience.

Hours and Work Schedule

  • 40 hours per week.
  • Monday through Friday schedule.
