Role and Responsibilities
  1. Actively pursue business relationships for NBH Bank, providing a full range of banking services with an emphasis on loan and deposit products to earn 100% of the client's relationship.
  2. Proactively call on clients, prospects, and referral sources to maximize results in acquiring, expanding, and retaining business banking relationships, with a focus on deposit, treasury, and business lending growth.
  3. Participate in community and business functions to promote a positive image of the bank and establish referral contacts within the community.
  4. Achieve sales and service goals individually and lead the banking center’s goals quarterly and annually, working with staff to develop and implement objectives.
  5. Review, analyze, and structure business loans, monitoring loan portfolio performance by maintaining contact with borrowers and resolving issues as needed.
  6. Promote the bank's image in the community through participation in community activities and development efforts.
  7. Identify market trends impacting clients’ businesses and utilize solutions to create partnership opportunities.
  8. Create, train, and coach a sales team to serve clients' financial needs, increasing market share and profitability.
  9. Manage relationships with business partners to ensure cross-sales, service quality, and client satisfaction, building rapport and treating others with respect.
Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of successful commercial or small business lending
  • 5+ years of banking experience
  • 5+ years of business-to-business development experience
Desired Skills

Ideal candidates should possess some or all of the following:

  • Minimum of 5 years of successful commercial or small business lending
  • Minimum of 5 years of banking experience
  • Completion of a bank training or formal credit training program
