Job description

Location: 1683 Oregon Pike Lancaster, PA 17601. Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 5:00pm; Friday 8:30am - 6:00pm; Saturday 9:00am - 12:00pm (Must be flexible around branch hours). Function: Assumes direct responsibility for the development of banking relationships with respect to all business lines for assigned market and customers and prospective customers to develop new business and retain existing business through promotion of products and services and operational excellence. Maintains consistent top production for the business unit and provides guidance and shares expertise with other Bankers.

Responsibilities

• Interview customers and prospective customers; prepare documentation to acquire information concerning a customer’s business needs, abilities, and earnings for all business lines.
• Collect and analyze financial data for proper account structure.
• Handle complex credits and referrals.
• Maintain an aggressive calling program for new and existing customers.
• Assist other lines of business in generating business.
• Execute Bank’s standard sales choreography expectations.
• Attend and participate in community affairs to promote the bank’s image.
• Represent the Bank at customer events, including advisory boards when applicable.
• Demonstrate division and market leadership; coach and mentor Business Bankers and other parties of the bank.
• Maintain close working relationships with all lines of business to execute exceptional customer service and develop new business, offering a wide array of products and solutions.
• Develop, advise, and maintain a network of referral professionals such as attorneys, realtors, and other centers of influence to grow relationships and generate referrals.
• Call on new prospects as referred from all other areas of the bank, referrals from prospects, and prospect lists.
• Conduct business development activities to identify bank prospects.
• Execute sales skills and service standards in support of the Bank’s Our Shared Future purpose, five values, and core drivers.
• Receive and respond to customer questions and solve customer problems.
• Consistently document portfolio and prospect calls, and other activities.
• Maintain good working relationships with bank employees.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills; work independently and as a team player to contribute to departmental and organizational success.
• Work closely with Portfolio Manager while continually monitoring their portfolio.
• Assume additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications

• Education: Four‑year college degree or equivalent, plus specialized training. Major or area of specialization: Finance/Accounting.
• Experience: Ten or more years of general business experience and ten or more years of specialized experience in credit and/or lending.

Physical Demands

Operates a keypad device: 40% of the week; electronic equipment: 20% of the week; office equipment: 10% of the week. Travels: 30% of the week. Requires travel by car to see customers, inspect construction sites, land developments, etc. May travel out of state to inspect projects, construction sites, and meet customers. Requires manual dexterity skills for typing and data entry up to 40% of the business day. Specific vision requirements include close vision of 18‑20inches for computer work. Salary Range

$65,000.00 - $161,700.00
